EMPOWERING FATHERS TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR
  FAMILIES THROUGH FATHER CUSTODY OPTIONS

Some of you have asked why we do this.

Perhaps after viewing some statistics you will better understand why we have placed our commitment with helping fatherhood. This page will show the strong existence of judicial biasness towards fatherhood.

Clicking here will open page one of these statistics.

Click here to open page two to see the effects of divorce on our sons.

And finally click here to see the long term effects on our daughters.

Once again, research finds that fathers are families best bet. In a Kansas Capital-Journal article titled, "Researcher: Society's messages hurt boys", finds that the results of the study indicated boys who said they spent a lot of time with an adult male parent (i.e. fathers) were less inclined to endorse traditional male values. Add this research to the long list of data that says, FATHERS MATTER! 12-6-99

CONGRATULATIONS!
On November 10th, the House passed by 328 to 93 The Fathers Count Act of 1999 (H.R. 3073), sponsored by Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-CT) that would provide $161 million in grants for programs that promote marriage and responsible fatherhood. This legislation now goes to the Senate Finance Committee where it is expected to get a hearing in February 2000. Sens. Evan Bayh (D-IN) and Pete Domenici (R-NM) have a similar bill with S. 1364, the Responsible Fatherhood Act.

US District Court Ruling: 9-30-99
Federally protected constitutional right to due process of law in state domestic relations/support enforcement proceedings.

SLAVERY (of Fathers with child support laws) IS OK?
According to US 9th CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS, San Francisco (Portland, Oregon Branch) See the decision where the court ruled that child-support awards fall within the narrow class of obligations that may be enforced by means of imprisonment without violating the constitutional prohibition against slavery.

DUES A MUST

Due to the expenses of operating an organization such as ours it has become necessary to charge dues in order to meet basic administrative cost. We have now placed a major emphasis on organization, expansion and advertisement here in West Virginia. We must let them know we are here to stay!
Dues have been set at $35.00 per year. We will also be holding fundraisers and selling T-shirts with our logo in order to generate working capitol.

Click here for instructions for paying dues.
